Amanda Beat

A little bit about your agency owner, Amanda Beat!

Amanda grew up in Omaha, NE, with a younger brother, Matt. Amanda and her family moved to Glenwood, IA when she was about to start middle school. After she graduated from high school she quickly moved back to Omaha, NE to attend Metro Community College to complete her undergraduate studies to become a Pharmacist. In 2006, Amanda decided it was time for a change, she quit her job as a Pharmacy Tech and moved to Springfield, MO. She attended Missouri State University and graduated in 2008 with her Bachelors of Science in Psychology. But not only that, she also met the love of her life, Noah Beat. Not long after they met in 2006 he proposed to her! They married in January 2008 and next to come was their sweet baby boy, Jaxson in August 2008. When Jaxson was about 4 months old we decided it was time for warmer climates so they picked Fort Worth, TX  and moved on January 2009. Not long after getting all settled in their second child came, their beautiful daughter, Ainslee. Amanda was a stay at home mom for about 2 years before she went stir crazy and was introduced to a lady who owned an Allstate, that is where she fell in love with insurance and knew she would take over one or more of her Allstate offices. However, after almost 7 years with this agent, she suddenly and unexpectedly fired me. She said “I would realize it was for the best after some time.” She was 100% correct. Amanda was made for the Independent side of things, not the Captive crap. So, after more than 10 years of working with many different agents, many ups and downs, learning all she could, she took the leap and started Beat Insurance Services, LLC in January 2020. The rest is history.

She enjoys spending time with her family, going shopping, taking trips and vacations whenever possible and spoiling those she loves most. Her heart is happiest at these times. Her family is her everything, along with her furry family member Charlie. She also loves music, NE Huskers, reading, and ghost stuff.

Another thing she enjoys is helping people get better insurance policies while explaining insurance to those who may not understand, and teaching those about insurance who may not know. There are many things people are unaware of and she feels like it is her job to educate people while saving them money. People not only get better coverages, they get a price and a better policy. She takes pride in her work and never cuts corners. She understands the importance of insurance and why people need it. She also understands that people need guidance when it comes to insurance and that is why she is here to help.
